by Dot Smay on November 08, 2011
I just returned from Southern California where I had the opportunity to tour some very beautiful Resorts in San Diego. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway where you feel like you went to Hawaii but you don't want the long flight, you must go to San Diego and stay at the Del Coronado Resort. The rooms are wonderful, and cozy. The resort is a historical landmark that comes with it's very own ghost stories. The beach is so inviting and just calls you out for a romantic walk at...

New York New York
by Dot Smay on July 26, 2011
I recently visited New York City for the first time and was so excited to see the sights I had always heard of or seen in pictures. The Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Empire State Building, Time Square and much much more.  The people in New York I found to be very pleasant even though they seem to always be moving in high gear. We visited Ground Zero and talked to the firemen at Station 10.  They showed us the remaining parts of the fire engine that was the first to...

Money Abroad - a New Travel Scam
by Rebecca Bliefernich on June 28, 2011
I like to share travel tips when I hear a good one or read an article that brings up a good point.  I just had clients return from Italy and they told me about "trick" that's being used to scam money.  Scam really isn't the right word, but it's the best I can come up with to describe it.  It's cab drivers who seem to be the most efficient scammers.  When you pay the fare to the driver, the money is palmed for a smaller bill and the driver insists you didn't...
